APC has a highly reliable pathology lab with most extensive quality control. The accuracy of reports is controlled by a separate quality management system for pathology lab, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 and the AMRI Hospitals pathology lab quality manual. APC understands that pathology lab reports are the backbone based on which doctors confirm or negate a diagnosis and thus are very relevant to issues related to patient safety. Wrong reports can lead to wrong diagnosis and subsequently to wrong treatment, thus APC implements the clauses of Joint Commission International (JCI) for quality and patient safety.
APC has the best staff working in its pathology lab backed by high accuracy equipments and chemical reagents. External quality control of its pathology lab is done by Ranbaxy Laboratories, India.
APC’s pathology lab performs all tests in Hematology, Biochemistry, Serology, Cytology, Microbiology and ELIZA reader tests.

APC has started to implement JCI (Joint Commission International) guidelines and clauses for international standard healthcare and patient safety. We have set our target to get accredited by 2012, which will make APC the only polyclinic in Southeast Asia with such accreditation. read more>>
